History Of A German Shepherd Dog

German Shepherds are the descendants of a German Herding Dog family. The credit for the existence of this great breed goes to one man named Captain Max Von Stephanitz. He was a career captain in the German cavalry in the late 19th century and he had an aim to introduce a German breed for herding dogs.
