We had just got married and my wife decided to be a stay at home wife, so she could give our kids the attention and education we thought was proper for them. Leia’s owner had just passed away, and her children made a newspaper listing giving her off for free, we gladly responded, and to our surprise, when we took Leia to the vet, it turned out she was pregnant. Leia gave us 7 beautiful puppies and from that moment, we knew we were meant to be breeders. We’ve been breeding German Shepherds ever since, perfecting our skills and bringing you the best puppies.

Its common to see puppies advertised as champion bloodline online. In fact, studies have shown that using the term champion bloodline when selling puppies increased the price of puppies regardless of their breed. And, a champion bloodline alone isnt a guarantee that your puppy is bred from healthy parents that have no serious hereditary problems they could pass on.

As a result, the almighty dollar and the showring has created a German Shepherd that is different from those in the restof the world . Health problems plaque these bloodlines aswell, more so than quality European lines. The American shepherd is not required to pass a temperament test, anykind of endurance testing, and is not required to be free of dysplasia.
